2You'd better be able to read Chinese  Aug 20, 2010
Received this e-mail back from the seller after contacting Amazon customer service. Tea was shaken loose all over inside of package, the tins were very tiny and instead of Dragonwell and Pu Erh, I got 2 Oolong, 2 Black and 2 Green Tea. I assumed one of the two greens was the Dragonwell but nothing was labelled Pu Erh...in English that is, and Pu Erh was why I bought the assortment.

From seller
"Hi, we are sorry that you are not happy with the tea. However, Pu Erh (in Chinese) Tea is inside, it is labeled as Yunnan Tea.

Since the tea was not made by us, it is by the local Chinese people, whose English translation is not as good as it should be. Sorry about it.
However, the Pu Erh is definitely inside.

We have authorized the Amazon to give you the full refund , and we would appreciate you to have a kinder feedback"

Cannot recommend this seller.

4Good sampler package  Aug 17, 2010
When I received the sampler, this is what I got: 2 Green Teas, 2 Oolongs, 1 Jasmine, and 1 Black tea. However, to my surprise, the 2 green teas and the 2 oolongs were actually different types of green teas and oolongs. It was great that I could try different kinds. From all 6, I found that I liked Jasmine the most (which I am really glad because I also bought a larger container of Jasmine). However, this is a good sampler pack, and for a tea newbie this is a great way to sample and find out what you really like.

56 Tea Sampler  Jul 29, 2010
You get four different teas in these air tight metal boxes. The tea is wonderful. The tea cannot go bad because it is sealed in an air tight container. There is enough in each for about 10 cups of tea, depending how much you use to steep. I received 4 very different teas, (two of them were repeats) but that's what I wanted was to try something new. These are it.

2not what I'd hoped for  May 19, 2010
Items received weren't damaged or defective, merely reflective of bad advertising and labeling. The sampler pack is described as "6 tins (Pu Erh, Oolong, Jasmine, White Tea, DragonWell Green Tea & More!)" What came were two Oolongs, one "Black" that I guessed would be the Pu Ehr, two Green and one Jasmine. No White, and no explanation of what kinds of Oolongs and Greens were sent. The labels on the tin had only these descriptors and some Chinese labeling. Fortunately my son is fluent in Chinese, and I sent him a photo of the tins. He replied, "Well, you have one that just says Oolong tea, the other Oolong is a Tie Guan Yin, a nice flowery Oolong (unless its a Taiwanese Oolong, in which case it will be a darker). You were right about the black tea, it's pu-er. The green tea on the top middle just says Chinese green tea, so its anyone's guess what that is. The other green tea is West Lake Long Jing."

I've tried all the teas, and they're not bad. In fact, I really like the one that is labeled as just "Chinese green tea" and would love to know what kind of green tea it is. I just learned that Long Jing is another name for Dragon Well. So for $12 I get to taste a good variety of decent teas, but gain little knowledge about what I am tasting. I'm really disappointed I didn't get a white tea, since this is where my education is really lacking. If I'd been sent a white tea and told the exact kinds of green, jasmine and oolongs I was getting, I would have rated this a 5 star purchase.

I complained to Amazon and they refunded my credit card $2.50. OK, that's something. I hope they have this supplier deliver what they advertise and clearly label what their teas are.

5One of my favorites  Feb 13, 2008
I'm no tea expert. In fact I just started exploring all the tea varieties to cut back on the coffee I was drinking. I searched for 5 star teas based on other people's reviews. This one deserves the rating. It has a full and pleasant flavor.
