Decent but could be better Aug 18, 2010 I got my packets in a few days ago and I decided to make one today. Directions were simple and easy. I even added a few veggies to go along with the mixture.
My end product wasn't as juicy as the picture on the box but I like it a bit dry anyway. I saw a review that complained about too much salt. Indeed it is a bit salty (especially if you taste the curry mixture alone) but I found the end product to be manageable.
The taste is why this product doesn't receive 5 stars. I expected a curry taste to match products I eat at Indian restaurants but this one was slightly different. I've made homemade mixtures that taste better. It was still good but I found myself getting tired of the taste as I became more full.
I probably won't be buying this specific product again but I may see if they have other options.

Authentic, but hard to cook than I imagined May 03, 2010 I thought this curry is a ready made one that only needs the boiling.
However, it was a paste that needs watering, long boiling and most of all, chicken meat separately.
It means: you cannot use this curry in the camping. (That was what I intended.
Taste was good.

Very tasty and easy meal Apr 18, 2010 I just made this and it was quite good. I added sweet onions and mushrooms which really added depth to the dish. I'm sure this would taste great plain as well. I'm going to experiment with more vegetables in the future. It was a bit more spicy than the butter chicken paste. I tasted some saffron and ginger and perhaps a kick of red pepper. Try making some homemade naan bread to go along with it.

It tastes good as it is supposed to Mar 08, 2010 It tastes very good for a guy who doesnt cook very often and bored with the same type of food everytime. It has more oil floating which I noticed after cooking. If you are very particular on diet, you may have to avoid it.
