4The gravy is similar to butter chicken gravy  Dec 05, 2009
Could do better with a little less oil. I drained out 2 tspn oil from each packet i opened.
Overall it tastes in like with rest of the Kitchens of India products.

3Very little veg content, and flavor too mild/heavy.  Oct 27, 2009
This is an excellent brand, and I've enjoyed their other recipes, but not this dish. What you get is almost 100% sauce -- an extremely heavy sauce made of finely ground nuts. You will need to add your own vegetables to make a real dish out of it. The sauce is so heavy that even though it contains some nice spices, it still begs for more flavor.

5Kitchens of India  Oct 07, 2009
I recently came across this label in a local health food store but, they had limited selections and I found a, I think, complete selection of their products with Amazon.com and at a lower cost I might add, even with shipping. In order to eat more whole grains I decided to order Kashi and several of Kitchens of India items to mix with for a great tasting and healthy meal. Kitchens of India will not let the "well seasoned" taster of India's cusine down and does offer the new taster a wonderful and varied experience. I can't imagne going though a day without at least one portion. If spice and taste are what you look for - look no more as you have found it with Kitchens of India.

5Delicious Experience  Jul 31, 2009
This dish has wowed me so much that I now crave it. It has a wonderful sourness (green chili and tamarind) that is tamed by the pureed almonds and peanuts that make this dish so rich. I love the chili flavor, and it is one of the few Kitchens of India dishes that actually has ghee listed on the ingredient list. I feel completely satisfied by this dish. It is a taste experience I want again and again. My husband also likes it very much. Very, very delicious.

2does not taste good  Jul 06, 2009
Yuck! I did not like this at all. the spices were bitter. There are better items from this company like the black gram lentils curry.
