5My Favorite Indian Food, Ready to Eat  May 26, 2010
I live in NYC and have access to many wonderful Indian restaurants. I love Indian food and I also make it at home (no prepared packages). This particular ready made dish is simply wonderful.

I believe it is very close to going to an Indian restaurant. I love spicy food and if it is not spicy enough I alter it. This dish is somewhat there, not as I would normally want. My reason for liking it so much is simple, the spices and flavors are wonderful, I cannot get enough of it. When I cannot cook I come home after a long day of work, add rice and a vegetable to this packaged prepared food. I do not feel a need for meat. I am not a vegetaria, I cook with fish and no fat chicken or turkey sometimes. For me, none of this is necessary. The spices/flavor are more then good. I do not eat breakfast or lunch so having said this, most likely this packaged food with simple additions, would be fine for two people. Try it, you may like it as much as I do. I think it is more then like, just great!

5Easy Indian Meal  May 12, 2010
Great taste and texture. Nice spice with a slight "bite". Very easy to prepare and very tasty. I fix this frequently with rice, or (not so traditional) thin rice noodles. I have occasionally added extra green veggies for even more nutrition. It is a great quickie meal, with decent nutrition and fiber content. Definitely recommended!

5Me Like  Apr 07, 2010
I like this. I don't have deep pockets, but when eating this for dinner my pockets deepen somewhat. The rich taste is akin to eating out, which I know little about, so tightly sown are my pockets. So take it from me -- actually I'll growl at you if you do -- if you're thin and hungry, want to stay thin but not hungry, take this route.

4Outstanding flavor...a good Indian fix  Mar 09, 2010
I love Indian food and have eaten it all over the world. As far as home dinners are concerned, this Brand (Kitchens of India) comes closest to hitting the mark in the non-frozen category.

3Just not a big fan of kidney beans  Mar 05, 2010
Well, what do you expect? I thought this curry was decent, but I prefer the Palak Paneer and the Vegetable Curry by quite a large margin. Maybe it's because of the kidney beans, but overall the flavor isn't that super either. This is just my opinion. Sorry it's not scientific.
