 Delicate, but lovely. May 28, 2010
These earrings caught my eye while browsing [...] looking for a pair of Jade earrings to replace a pair I'd lost. They were the only pair that I liked. I read the reviews and some were disappointed, I passed them over. The very next day I found them on Amazon, priced five dollars less and took a chance. I paid, at the time, 4.99 plus S&H. The earrings arrived in four days and I was pleasantly surprised! One disappointed reviewer(@Overstock) complained about the size and quality, these are not large earrings and the product specs are accurate. They are close to an inch in length a portion of that is the shepherd hook, the Jade portion sits below my ear lobe. The carved portion of the earring is Jade and approx. 3/8 ths X 3/8 ths of an inch square and at least an eighth of an inch thick, a fairly substantial ratio especially at this price point. All of the findings are silver, but because of the thickness these earrings only have movement at the beads attached to the bottom, the carved portion sits stationary. They are delicate but they are very visible when worn, I wore them to a beach party right after they came and received oodles of compliments from friends, family and even strangers(results, a definite 5 th star). I love Jade and green is my favorite color so I may have a tiny bias...But at the price I paid, these earrings were more than I expected. I even liked the box, affix a bow and it could make a lovely little gift or stocking stuffer, and I would not hesitate purchasing from this seller again in the future.

these are affordable, but they are genuine sterling silver - and they are attractive. they are a bit smaller than i expected (about the size of a nickel) but I'm happy with them.
