It is fed by a stream from Shivapuri National Park and is approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from Thamel, Kathmandu. The car journey takes around 40 minutes. There is a small temple of Shiva near the waterfall, which is open on Saturdays and Mondays. Visitors can reach the waterfall by taking a stone stairway of about 400 steps. It takes 10 to 20 minutes to see the waterfall, depending on one&#8217;s speed. This place is well-known for its breathtaking beauty, with crystal-clear waters cascading down rugged cliffs into a pristine pool below. You will experience the soothing sounds of the waterfall for great relaxation.
